Remote Sensing for Land Cover Mapping and Analysis

Multispectral satellite imagery offers powerful capabilities for land cover mapping and for qualitative and quantitative analyses of Earth´s surface. The aim of this session is to provide an introduction to land cover mapping and analysis using open source software and freely available Sentinel-2 data. The session will offer insights in selected techniques for image visualisation, interpretation and analyses.
